KATERI TEKAKWITHA (1656-1680)
Kateri Tekakwitha, Lily of the Mohawks, was born of an Algonquin mother and Mohawk father. Ministries and parishes, especially those for aboriginal people, are named after her across Canada.
Her feast day is on April 17 in Canada and on July 14 in USA.
